لا تذمم الدهر أطاع أو عصى

قد رق بابن شبيب كأس تشبيبي

Death tires of the death of the drunkard
قد اطباني رشأ مهفهف
A joyful breeze has graced me,
سرى الطيف من ظمياء والطيف مرسل
The specter glided from the darkness, and the specter sent
يقولون من نار تكون خده
