The most precious gifts of a ruler and regime
للحب قلب نابض
Love has a throbbing heart and tongue,
أنى تغيب ونور وجهك ساطع
How can you be absent when the light of your face shines
يُداس حُمى الاقصى
Every heart has someone who preoccupies it,
تونس الخضراء
Tell those who refuse to listen to the truth
فجر في دجى الأحداث
All that fanciful conjecture built up
رؤية
The eye sees what the heart does not desire
نقش على جدار الوطن
From where do I begin talking about the homeland
موازين الرجال
The first and successive go to it
عثمان ـ رضي الله عنه ـ
Modesty raised the banner for you and glorified,
بسلامة الصدر الحياة تطيب
With tranquility of heart, life is sweet,
تلاميذ النبوة
Leave our noble companions alone
غريب
A stranger, while my homelands are trampled and my nation
الأمل المورق
More beautiful than the radiance of the sunrise
شموخ الصابري
The Sheikh has joined the company of the righteous
لله در بلادنا
The fortresses remain impregnable
يا قلب جدة
O my heart, Jeddah, how persistent is your persistence
برقية شعرية إلى الصحافة العربية
O people of journalism, minds have gone astray,
وقفة أمام خيام المبعدين
The night has passed, dawn follows after
رجوتك يا حبيب
Leave the machine gun behind you, my beloved
الشفق الأحمر
When I saw the red horizon,
غابة الظلم
The beasts have fled the dark forest
وهج الحب
The passion blazed, do not increase my yearning
هو الأمر بالمعروف
Caravans of goodness, a caravan after caravan
أنا ناطق باسم الشباب
Forgive me if I troubled you with my words
ومضة حب
Love is but a flash in my heart,

O poet who plowed his pen
خفقان قلب الشعر
The throbbing of poetry's heart, or my throbbing?
مليكة وجداني
Welcome, O love, and your smile,
الإبحار
I am the sea and the sea is within me
حلم اللقاء
Bring your steps closer, for I long
يا ضيف وجداني
I sailed in you for you are the sea,
تهميش على دفتر الصداقة
I forgive, if a friend embarked on the most difficult
وماذا لو تمادى ؟؟
He persists, so what if he persists and goes too far
ابتهل
Pray, for the sky will open its door
أيها القانون
What war is this, what misguidance
أنا مبحر
She said: To whom do you send your poems
عندما يرتحل القلب
Have you left? No, but my heart has departed
خوضوا البحار
Embrace the seas and hug the waves,
حينما يصبح البارود طيبا
You did not go away, nor did you become a stranger,
خالي العزيز
My dear uncle, you left this world
فمتى تعلمني ؟!
She said: You have taught me profound love,
رسالة إلى فرعون مصر
Pharaoh, your mind has long been deluded
العصفورة الراحلة
You, little bird, sing
في جوف الكعبة
Let me, with my eyelids, and with the tear that flows down,
في خليج العقبة
I know the coral, its noble lineage,
أيها الغائب
From what do I take refuge from accumulating worries,
موقف وصول الرسول للمدينة
A lyrical melody surged in my heart,
أيا شعب مصر
The winds blow and there is no escape

جبل الهمه
Bring your face close to the face of this poem
خير أمة
You are at the highest peak of your religion
الجدار الفولاذي
As long as my Lord is my supporter and refuge
دعيني وخيل الشعر
Let me be, for I have saddled poetry for your sake

O night of Fatima, be brief and do not linger
أنا وريشتي
I asked my pen to draw the moon
بك اللهم أصبحنا
By You, O Allah, we entered upon the morning
إشراق الغروب
Love shines from the sunset of tragedies,

سيل أشواقي
Though poor, my spirit's rich beyond all measure;
يا مسجد الإسراء
From your open door to the sun
تشكو الفتاوى
The edicts complain in your time of their plight
دموع القلم
My pen is wounded with many scars
بين الريح والإعصار
They lit their fire, who lit the fire?
