I complain because the truth between us is lost

14. And because the walls of dignity were demolished
In my nation and humiliation in it spread

15. And because I saw the snake of love
In its ill-omened fangs lethal poison lies

16. And because I saw what you did not see
So there is a wolf sitting at your door

17. I say to those who blame me wake up
For with the sword of poetry I fight for you

18. Look at the color of peace and its taste
Bitter is its taste and ugly is its color

Except the palms of the delusional ones handshake

21. Much difference between peaceful and merchants
The merchants for dignity are selling

22. In the hand of the peace preacher flowers
And in the palm of the merchants of peace daggers

23. Did you see a just peace in life
That is called for by bombs and cannons

24. I am ashamed when I laugh heedlessly
When a hungry child has fallen on the ground

25. I am ashamed when I am busy with love

26. I am ashamed when I see my nation
Yearn for its enemies and befriend them

27. I still call upon it and the voice of the lover freezes in my mouth
And the submissive does not respond

28. I still call upon it and a thousand stories
Told about kinsfolk who boycotted

29. About brothers who rode the horse of discord
And pushed each other into basements of estrangement

30. O nation, its history elevates it
And leads it to real vulnerable fall

31. O nation listen to its whims
And deaf when a preacher yells

32. O nation, I still ask about its condition
It speaks to me in answer with agonies

33. Why do I see you open the doors of passion
And accept what the greedy calls for

34. You leaned west while all facts
Are east and in your hand is healing

35. Why do I see you build for interest money
A bridge while the Quran warns severely against it

36. Have you forgotten God's war which is terrible
Or you have no faith to deter

37. Or the purpose of Islam for you is to see
For you in existence factories and installations

38. Have you forgotten that people in you are minerals
Have you forgotten that the land in you has sites

39. Do not be fooled by some ugly faces
And adorn them for onlookers with veils

40. And if God wanted to remove guardianship
The sighted by it is blinded and the listeners are defamed

41. My nation I was blamed about you but
The blamer feared the rising star

42. They said you defend with poems, I said
But with the certainty of my heart I defend your sanctuary

43. My collars have matured so no
Letter in it falsifies my vision or deceives

44. I submitted to the Merciful my forelock so no
The poems are distracted or conscience obscured

45. I long for the victory of a doctrine
In it are the sources of salvation

46. They said: You seek the impossible? I said
But a promise from the Merciful true will happen

47. By God even if the enemy demolishes our homes
And storms blow us behind the ocean

48. I will still believe that our nation has
A day of white brilliant glories

49. These are our facts and not an imaginary
Image in it the minds contends

50. I will not stop calling for perhaps
A call from my heart will benefit
