1. The fortresses remain impregnable
As long as the banner of certainty is raised

2. And its meadows continue to flourish
Scattering the petals of joy and delight

3. Streams of love flow through its courtyards
And passions of the earth shake its rains

4. The branches sway scattering their foliage
And fruits lean toward outstretched hands

5. Praise be to these gardens of love
Whose birds sing the tune of its beauty

6. Its sands crawled toward the beautiful dream
And its rocks clung to its mountains

7. Its parts drew nearer until the elders
And the young joined mouths in brotherhood

8. Its shining lighthouse, its night and daytime
Hopeful because of its light and sun

9. It is elevated by science and faith
And its home is protected by heroes

10. Its scholars, rulers, judges, and preachers
Have composed the tale of its chronicles

11. In the story of the two sheikhs when they allied
The features of its illuminated lights appeared

12. When its sheikh and imam joined forces
Its regions set forth toward the light of guidance

13. And united after dispersion, contained by
Abdulaziz after its burdens were released

14. It opened a door to our oases
So its sheikh and bachelors came to us

15. Around our Kaaba its circumambulation is completed
And its inhabitants live in the blessing of its security

16. The valleys of its goodness extend their branches
So its visitors walk in their shade

17. A great inheritance bequeathed by a law
Still carried by its supporters

18. Brother of creed and happiness - all of it
Flows in our religion through its rivers

19. Thanks to the service of the guiding law which
Still raises its minaret in existence

20. My poem comes to you from my letters
Revolving around loyalty and faithfulness

21. Draped in my feelings it comes to you
Its gown and mantle of loyalty and faithfulness

22. On the night of honor its melody shone
As its scholars and leaders are moons

23. You who gave science the resolve of a reformer
So settlement will be pleasing to our land

24. Let me confess to you the concerns that have not ceased
To flow above the horizons like a train

25. In our era, O son of dignity, as you see
And we see, affairs are unsettled

26. Discords lofty in space - their betrayal
And their fires blazed in every land

27. Discords whose flames roam the countries
And the abodes circle around them

28. As if the earth spins in a vortex
Sad for what its infidels have reaped

29. They were granted, by God's will, the best treasures
To facilitate the prosperity of the world

30. Is ingratitude to be its reward from us?
Should we be content that its evil ones do wrong?

31. I hear it say statements that empty
Its oases and deserts with its talk

32. What can I say about Iraq and Gaza
Whose rubble and destruction speak for them?

33. And the eyes of our most distant parts are tears that have not ceased
To flow copiously through its fields

34. Their coats were stolen and clothes torn
And their bracelets lost on their wedding day

35. What is wrong with me and the nations that are humiliated
By their Isis who misguides and confuses them?

36. What is wrong with me and the nations led
By their greed as the dollar leads and markets them?

37. How can I follow them when it is they whose
Saws continually cut up my boards?!

38. Can a deep wound be treated with its like?
Will you protect the seller of passion?

39. Two condemned extremes when radicalized
Weary our ships and increase their disabledness

40. The extreme of sanctimoniousness in religion has not ceased
To be a language from whose terrorism the dust arose

41. And the radicalism of secularism that deceives
Minds - strange are its ways

42. As if I see them both allied to discord
That weighed down heavily on our nations

43. Miserable is extremism for it is the character
Of renegades whose good ones are evil

44. Miserable is sanctimoniousness - it has no place
Among a nation whose path of guidance is its course

45. Miserable is progress when it steals freedoms
From their sanctuaries until their veils are lost

46. Miserable is progress when it becomes a setback
In religion spreading ideas between us

47. Principles suffer when their people become
Followers and when their merchants sell them

48. The edifice of sovereignty has pillars that establish it
No matter how much its troubles shake its walls

49. A religion, ethics, established science
And justice whose effects we see

50. Kingdoms are like men - dignity and honor protect them
And make them precious among worlds

51. Lands remain esteemed by their steadfastness
And by the love of what their good ones call to

52. Their protector is an experienced ruler
And advisors who refine their thoughts for him

53. The scholars protect it from the vileness of passions
Honoring its inhabitants and securing its neighbors

54. Certainty elevates our souls to the highest
And its preference remains raising its rank

55. The coasts remain a refuge for ships
If sailing the sea of adversity is their course

56. Praise be to our country, its approach
Its Quran, its guide the chosen one

57. It is a state built on its Islam
By which its honor and pride will remain
