12. They say: this is the era of civilization,
So why are vices prevailing over it?

13. O brother of the glorious nation, your eye has never stopped
Seeing what my eyes see, so what will you do?

14. When you see the lofty palms among us,
Do not forget that branches stem from them.

15. For you is the melodious garden and the spring
Whose channels do not complain of drought.

16. For you is the glory, and history is the greatest witness
That the horse of glory revolves around you.

17. For you is the truth, and the clear revelation is its foundation,
And the guiding prophet's tradition has evidence.

18. You have proofs that guide
Minds that misguidance and falsehood have clouded.

19. So how can you see from within you what you see
From frivolity, to the point that virtues have denied you?!

20. When a person exposes himself to humiliation,
It is no wonder if the concerned become apathetic!

21. Not every effort takes one to the goal,
For how often has fate halted the diligent!

22. Can fertile land that turned away
From the path of clouds equal the barren?

23. I say to those whose loved ones departed with my heart,
The caravans moved on, not the beloved.

24. Remaining in my heart, O you who left
And whose steps the caravans have extended.

25. Remaining, even if distance pleased itself,
And obstacles embodied the meaning of separation.

26. Remaining, even if your place was distant,
Because you are in my eye and nestled in my heart.

43. And in its lips is a scream that grief has frozen
Its echo, and the fighter did not hasten to it.

44. It is Jerusalem, fallen into confusion and bewilderment
And how can one who is heedless taste safety?

45. It asks us: Where are the promises
That your envoy conveyed to me in councils?

46. I am confused by you, I no longer know who
Advocates me truthfully or deceives.

47. And who harbors sincere love, who shares my opinion,
And who desires passion and flirts?

48. How can we see victory over the usurper who
Points at us in our own land and consumes it?

49. He defiles our land with settlements
And churches are established in the noble Jerusalem.

50. He changes the names and maps of the countries
And becomes insolent in his speech and argues.

51. The sanctuary of Al-Aqsa is trampled, and in its expanse
The family of the murdered wept as the killer bragged.

52. Youths and children whose blood is shed
And emptied from whom they love and homes.

53. How can a land whose Lord abandons it to aggression
And thieves enter it, live in safety?

54. I ask you about me and you, and I do not know
If my question reveals the flaw is in whom I ask!

55. When corruption spreads on earth and its people,
It is no wonder that tremors shake it.

56. You turn away from me? Then see where your direction is,
For each has an inclination to their kind.

57. Do you not see the dragging and killing has never ceased
To be proof that the Jews are the villains?

58. Their peace is terrorism, its terms were formulated
In the field of the noble Al-Aqsa with bombs.

59. My loved ones, do not take the matter heedlessly,
For only the unaware earns disappointment.
