Written with the pens of our glories

7. So too our nation, its heart
Is healthy and its essence good

8. It has peoples with their Islam
Honored, drinking from its spring

9. Peoples who extend to their rulers
The hand of love unless they ruin

10. Lower its wings when rights are protected
And not robbed away

11. Hand over their affairs if not betrayed
Or pillaged and plundered

12. Peoples whose dignity is a pearl
Not to be violated or pierced

13. Peoples whose feelings are sweet
And the spring of their faith purer

14. They love calm and accept it
And its verdant meadow pleases them

15. But when degraded and denied
Their rights in the world veiled

16. The peoples here become embers
Ablaze, their fire flames

17. Oh people of Egypt and its Nile
And its palm-tree, its meadow fertile

18. Glory greets you with tidings
Of a sun of justice that will not set

For which our nation yearns

20. When justice spreads in a nation
Its value rises and the ship sails
