For the people, are ruling by the Shari'ah of Islam

١. أغلى هدايا حاكمٍ ونظامِ
للناس ، حُكْمُ شَريعَةِ الإسْلامِ

2. The most precious gifts for nations are protection
Of wealth, honor, and intellect

٢. أغلى الهدايا للشُّعوبِ ، حمَايةٌ
للمالِ ، والأعراضِ ، والأَفْهامِ

3. Closing the doors of corruption and desire
And the conduits of misguidance and delusion

٣. إغلاقُ أبوابِ المفاسِدِ والهوى
ومنافِذِ التَّضليلِ و الإيهَامِ

4. The most precious gifts for countries and their people
Are implementing Allah's Law in rulings

٤. أغلى الهدايا للبلادِ وأهْلهَ
تطبيقُ شرع الله في الأحكامِ

5. More precious than the world, and its pleasures
And the mirage of its delusions

٥. أغلى منَ الدُّنيا ، ومن لذَّاتِه
وبرِيقِ ما فيها منَ الأوهامِ

6. Is removing blame from callers to virtue
Who spread guidance, and renowned leaders

٦. رَفْعُ الملامةِ عنْ دُعاةِ فضيلَةٍ
نشروا الهُدى وأئمَّةٍ أعْلامِ

7. They guard the abode from infiltrators
Who stab with their spears the chests of the sleeping

٧. هُمْ يحرسُونَ الدَّارَ من مُتسلِّلٍ
يرْمي بحربتِهِ صُدورَ نِيامِ

8. How many fires of violated honor they extinguished
And protected with Allah's help, the dignity of the honorable

٨. كمْ أطْفأوا نيرانَ هتْكِ فضيلةٍ
وحموا بعونِ الله عِرْضَ كِرامِ

9. The most precious gift is a Muhammadan calculation
Among people, supporting the system

٩. أغْلى الهَدَايا حِسْبَةٌ محمُدَةٌ
بينَ الأنامِ ، تشُدُّ أزْرَ نِظامِ

10. O servant of the Two Holy Mosques, our state
Which was established on Islam, the best foundation

١٠. يا خادِمَ الحرمينِ ، دولتنا التي
قامتْ على الإسلامِ خيرَ قيامِ

11. It extended its hand to the monotheists when
He called to the Law of the One, the All-Knowing

١١. مدَّتْ يديها للموحِّدِ حينم
نادى بشرع الواحِدِ العلاَّمِ

12. When it saw him inclining to the caller to prayer
And praying to Allah behind the imam

١٢. لمَّا رأتْهُ إلى المؤذِّنِ مُصغي
ومُصلِّياً للهِ خلفَ إمامِ

13. It rushed to him with its palm trees and lotus
And its acacia and planes and gardens

١٣. ركضتْ إليهِ بنَخْلِها وبسدرِه
وبِشِيحِها وعَرارها وخُزامِ

14. It rushed with the resolve of its men and women
And its elders, adults, and boys

١٤. ركضت بعزمِ رجالِها ونسائِه
وبشَيْخهَا وبِكهْلِها وغُلامِ

15. Its measure is its Quran, Hadith,
The Two Holy Mosques, and the strength of inspiration

١٥. ميزانُها قُرْآنُها ، وحديثُه
و المَسْجِدانِ وقوَّةُ الإلْهامِ

16. And enjoining right, no matter how much
Those who let opinions loose without reins try

١٦. و الأمرُ بالمعروفِ،مهما حاولو
منْ يُفْلِتونَ القولَ دونَ زِمامِ

17. I hear it say to the skeptical writer
And thinker, "babbler"

١٧. إنِّي لأسمعها تقولُ لكاتبٍ
مُستغْربٍ ، ومُفكِّرٍ " خَمْخَامِ "

18. And to whoever resembles the crow, who did not walk
The walk of crows, nor walked like a pigeon

١٨. ولمَنْ تشبَّهَ بالغُرابِ ، فما مشى
مَشْيَ الغُرابِ ، ولامشَى كحمامِ

19. And it says to the pretentious, and those
Who have gone to extremes in their religion, and are consumed with discord

١٩. وتقولُ للمُتَنطِّعينَ ، ومنْ غلو
في دينهم ، وتشبَّعوا بِخِصامِ

20. And it says to all extremists
And everyone who has gravitated to criminality:

٢٠. وتَقولُ للمُتطرِّفينَ جميعهمْ
ولكُلِّ مَنْ جَنَحوا إلى الإجْرامِ :

21. Two swords do not clash in one sheath, which
Its core loved the gleam of polished swords

٢١. لا يلْتَقي سَيْفانِ في الغِمْدِ الذي
عَشِقتْ سريرتُهُ برِيقَ حُسامِ

22. Vast is the difference between the glow of a dim star
That darkness ridiculed, and a full moon

٢٢. شتَّانَ بينَ ضياءِ نجمٍ باهتٍ
سخِرَ الظلامُ بهِ ، وبدْرِ تمامِ

23. Great is the difference between Allah's mosques
Which are built, and the towering pyramids

٢٣. شتَّان بينَ مساجِدِ الله التي
تُبْنى وبينَ شواهِقِ الأهرامِ

24. The edifice may become a citadel, yet in
The measure of Allah's Law, is like rubble

٢٤. قدْ يُصبحُ البُنيانُ صرْحاً، وهو في
ميزانِ شرعِ الله مثلُ رُكامِ

25. The most sublime structure is that of a free soul
Whose innermost being is safe from ills

٢٥. أسمى البناءِ ، بِناءُ نفسٍ حُرَّةٍ
سَلِمتْ سرِيرَتُها منَ الأسْقامِ

26. And more dear than a million lofty towers
Are the spires of the resolve of a scholar and imam

٢٦. وأعزُّ من مليونِ بُرْجٍ شاخِصٍ
أبراجُ همَّةِ عالمٍ وإمامِ

27. The spires of a faithful, aspiring generation
Who ascend with their resolve to the most noble station

٢٧. أبراجُ جيلٍ مُؤمنٍ مُتطلِّعٍ
يرْقى بهِمَّتِهِ أعَزَّ مقامِ

28. Who experience life with their religion and knowledge
Like flowers sprinkling the meadows with cloud-bursts

٢٨. يلْقى الحياةِ بدينِهِ وبعلْمِهِ
لُقْيا زهورِ الرَّوضِ قَطْرَ غَمَامِ

29. And so the noble soul is built up
With knowledge, faith, and benevolence

٢٩. وكذلِكَ النَّفْسُ الأبيَّةُ تُبْتَنى
بالعِلْمِ و الإيمَانِ و الإكْرامِ

30. I hear every towering inch
Of our elevated, flag-adorned land

٣٠. إنِّي لأَسْمعُ كُلَّ شبْرٍ شَامخٍ
منْ أرْضِنا المرْفوعة الأعْلامِ

31. Send a thousand greetings and salutations
And say to me the words of the bold hero:

٣١. يُلْقي بألفِ تحيَّةٍ وتحِيَّةٍ
ويقولُ لي قولَ الفتى المِقْدامِ :

32. The sun has phases, a radiant morning
And afternoon, and its far-reaching sunset

٣٢. للشَّمسِ أطْوارٌ ، صباحٌ مُشرقٌ
وظَهيرةٌ ، وغُروبها المُترامي

33. And the sun of truth remains effulgent
Turning away the army of every darkness

٣٣. وتَظَلُّ شمسُ الحقِّ ذاتَ توهُّجٍ
يرْتدُّ عنها جيشُ كلِّ ظلامِ

34. How many glib tongues while their hearts
Seethe with embers of rancor aflame

٣٤. كمْ ناطِقٍ ذَرِبِ اللِّسانِ ، وقَلْبُهُ
يَغْلي بجمْرٍ للضَّغينَةِ حامِ

35. Say what you will about life and its beauty
And the charm of its dreams

٣٥. قُل ما تَشاءُ عن الحياةِ وحُسْنه
وجمالِ ما فيْها مِنَ الأحْلامِ

36. Yet enjoining right is the best gift
For our homes, protecting them from sins

٣٦. فالأمرُ بالمعروفِ خَيرُ هديَّةٍ
لبيوتنا ، تحمي مِنَ الآثامِ

37. Have you seen one of sound mind who rejects
A gift of mercy, affection, and peace?!

٣٧. أرأيتَ ذا عقْلٍ يَرُدُّ هديَّةً
منْ رحمةٍ ومودَّةٍ وسَلامِ ؟!
