1. When I saw the red horizon,
I saw it as a river flowing in the sky.

2. I felt as though my eyes had seen
A cheek and tears dropping over it.

3. A river was in front of me flowing without
Water, so very beautiful and green!

4. It flowed in front of me, smooth and amazing,
Surpassing rivers in its splendor.

5. Its redness sketches for me a painting
That embraces the red and yellow,

6. And makes the night its wall,
And makes it in its beauty more apparent.

7. O spark of feeling, this is me
Bringing my longing closer to you, the atoms,

8. Squeezing the stars until I see
The biggest of them in my fist the smallest.

9. The oil of light flows from it on
My right fingers and has enlightened.

10. O spark of feeling, say with me
The words of the one who prayed and glorified.

11. Glory to the One who originated in His universe
That which captivates the mind, and Who formed.

12. Glory to the Lord of the universe Who made flow for us
In the universe what awakens the one who pondered.

13. Buraidah I would see the scene.
I would see “Zulfiyya” to my right

14. And “Al-Ghat” to my left and the plateau.
Gifted me pearls and gems.

15. I closed the eye of poetry surrendering
When I saw the red horizon.
