1. O night of Fatima, be brief and do not linger
For with her is the candle of faith and hope

2. Her lamp of praise makes the night joyous, O night
Her bequest is from the best of messengers

3. She is the daughter of Mustafa the guide, and what an
Honor to be her father, and she is Ali’s wife

4. Mother of the two Hasans, her lineage so precious
If the eminent tried to attain it, they could not reach

5. O night of Fatima, you still see her
Praying, hearing her imploring voice

6. Her praises make the mindless night radiant
Lighting it with beauty of words and deeds

7. Like her father, living in his heart
A flower in his garden of chastity

8. Walking on the carpet of faith, pure
Of heart, free of malice and deceit

9. Steadfast of patience, refusing to leave him
Her free heart complaining not of hardship

10. In the house of revelation, the Messenger raised her on
A faith, while bastions crumble, it does not fade
