1. None but the guiding moon fears setting,
And none but the truth fears leaning.

2. And none but the plants of faith fear
Withering if rain fails them.

3. And none but the minds of the people of truth fear
Straying, or loss, or madness.

4. And not all lands, if irrigated by
The clouds' valleys, become meadows.

5. So how much land does the flood pass
Without preserving much or little?

6. And how much land is caressed by a cloud,
Then spreads over us welcome shade?

7. And not all hearts, if called by
The tongue of truth, grant acceptance.

8. So how many a heart has truth called, but
Refused to hear the good word?

9. And how many a heart, when a truth
Called to it, recoiled and retreated?

10. We see trees tall, yet we see
Olives best, and palms.

11. And among cattle are kinds, but
The good remains to envelop horses.

12. And we see around us many humans,
Yet people of virtue found the path.

13. Behold! O path of Islam I
Bring to you the ode flowing.

14. I composed its letters, O beloved,
And pleased Al-Khalil with its meter.

15. I filled its rhetorics with light, for
I made its nourishment original thought.

16. And I opened not for it doors of illusion,
Nor brought to it borrowed thought.

17. I have sent to you my poetry steeds
Galloping the horizon, filling it with neighing.

18. Passing by Taybah of the Guide, and going
To Al-Aqsa without accepting retreat.

19. I send you, blessed with fasting
And a month that came to us virtuous.

20. And with Eid that comes joyfully
And makes the pace of joys incline.

21. Thus poetry with faith ascends
And carries for humanity a noble goal.

22. Behold! O path of Islam, we
Proclaim it and fear no rebuttal.

23. We love our countries, mountain and plain,
And passionately love its breadth and length.

24. And love its palm tree that gives food
And the spring of guidance that heals hearts.

25. Is it not where the Qur’an descended when
The Chosen one recited it, amazed minds?

26. We inherited from it the Qur’an’s path
Heavenly, and we followed the Messenger.

27. And that great blessing provoked
An envious one, or spiteful one, or agent.

28. They accused us of Wahhabism when they said:
“It has misled a tribe.”

29. Yet they did not speak true about us,
And fabricated from their narration chapters.

30. Wahhabism! While the truth is a sun
Whose light dispels the long night?

31. And the two Imams never deviated
From Islam or abandoned proof.

32. They raised the banner of Shariah, in knowledge
And by the sword to protect it, sharpened.

33. And that greatest call which
Our branches follow, shepherding the fundamentals.

34. Abdulaziz built by it a structure
We inherited, generation after generation.

35. And we still extend to it hands,
A sincere lineage followed by lineage.

36. The trust to keep it came to us
Because Allah willed it would come to pass.

37. And whoever kept the principles obtained through them
On the path of truth lasting glory.

38. Behold! O path of Islam, thank you
Because you did not allow illusion tales.

39. You filled the heart with faith and love
And how much it suffered from affliction and sorrow.

40. You have clarified reality for us in matters
Its state therein almost changed.

41. You have given sincerity a value
That would spare it stubbornness and ignorance.

42. And you have set for this world a system
That deters a hand aspiring to the impossible.

43. And you have protected knowledge and jurisprudence with guidance
That distances from its platforms the hasty.

44. You have protected people from the affliction of extremism
And words that make a sparrow an elephant.

45. And from juristic opinions that mislead those in coverings
To break their bracelets and barriers.

46. You have uncovered by the Qur’an’s path an
Illusory opinion and feeble thinking.

47. And sorts of pens have remained
Depicting the path of Islam as ghoul.

48. Behold! O path of Islam we
Thank our Lord abundantly.

49. And we believe your structure will remain
Because truth refuses to pass.

50. We say to this whole world
And it is the right of those convinced to say:

51. “God has granted us might through Islam
And we will not accept an alternative path.”
