- أقسم بالله وآلائهI swear by Allah and His signs

- أقول يا ليت ليلى في يدي حنق
- إلا الحمد لله حمدا كثيراExcept complete praise and abundant gratitude is due to Allah

- ألا أيها اللاحي عليا دع الخناO Wanderer! Leave the Valley of Grief
- ألا طرقتنا هند والركب هجعBehold, Hind came to us when the caravan rested

- بلغ الهوى بفؤادك المجهوداLove has exhausted your heart
- به وصى النبي غداة خم

- فما إلى أدناهم منه بيعاHe went to the poorest of them to trade

- هل عند من أحببت تنويلIs there someone you loved that you intend
- هلا وقفت على الأجراع من بتنHave you stopped at the traces of encampment from date palms,
- هلا وقفت على المكان المعشب
- هم الأئمة بعد المصطفى وهم
- همة تنطح الثريا وعز
- هو مولاك فاستطار ونادى
- واختل من طلحة المزهو جبتهThe robe of Talhah, embroidered and adorned,
- وأديت عنه كل عهد وذمةI have destroyed every covenant and pledge for him
- وإذا الرجال توسلوا بوسيلة
- وإذا حضرن مع الملاح بمجلسWhen They Arrive at the Gathering with the Mariners
- واذكر تحمله الديار ولا تكن
- وارث السيف والعمامة والرايةThe Sword, the Turban and the Banner's Heir
- واسأل بني الحسحاس تخبر أنهMy Friend
- وإسماعيل يبرز من فلان
- وإن عليا قال في الصيد قبل أنMy Friend
- وإن لساني مقول لا يخونني
- وإن مسيري من ذراك ضرورةMy Life's Journey From You is Fate
- وإنك آية للناس بعدي
- وأهوج لاحى في علي وعابهHe raged against the eminent, blaming him
- وأول مؤمن صلى وزكى
- وبيعة ظاهرٍ بايعتموهاYou're the Sun

- وصاحب الحوض يسقي من ألم بهRoaming by the basin, the one pained

- وعصبة فتشت عني وعن حسبيLeague that Sought Me and My Lineage
- وعلي أول الناس اهتدىAnd Ali was the first of people to be guided
- وفاطم قد أوصت بأن لا يصلياFatima's Behest Not to Pray
- وفي ذات السلاسل من سليمIn Chains by Salim
- وفي يوم بدر حين بارز شيبةIn the Day of Badr When the White-Haired Man Faced
- وقال طوبى أيكة ظلهاBlessed is the sheltering tree,
- وقام محمد بغدير خمMuhammad Stood Up at Ghadir Khumm
- وقد أتانا رداء من هديتكمAnd To Us Came A Cloak Of Your Gift
- وقد رويتم له الأملاك ناصرةAngels Were His Helpers
- وقوله الميزان بالقسط وماThe Scales with Justice and Nothing Else
- وكان له أخا وأمين غيبBrother and Faithful Friend
- وكفاه بأن طوبى له فيHeaven is His, Suffice it
- وكنت الخليفة دون الأنام
- ولدته في حرم الإله وأمنه
- ولقد عجبت لقائل لي مرةI marveled at one who said to me once
- ولكنه أصفى عليا وجعفراBut he preferred Ali and Ja'far
- ولم ترضعك مريم أم عيسى
- ولما رأيت الناس في الدين قد غوواWhen I Saw People Lost in Religion
- وليلة كاد المشركون محمداAnd A Night When The Pagans Nearly Killed Muhammad
- ونعمتي الكبرى على الخلق من غداMy greatest blessing upon creation from tomorrow
- وهو الذي يسم الوجوه بميسمHe Who Forms Faces With a Brand
- يا ابن أمي فدتك نفسي وماليO son of my mother, for whom I would sacrifice my soul and possessions
- يا آل ياسين يا ثقاتيYa Aal Yaseen Ya Thaqati
- يا أهل كوفان إني وامق لكمYa Ahl Kufan Inni Wamiqun Lakum
- يا بائع الدين بدنياهO seller of religion for worldly gain
- يا شعب رضوى إن فيك لطيباYa Sha'b Radhwa In Feek Lutayyiban
- يا صاحبي تروحا وذرانيMy Friend, You Are Leaving and Abandoning Me
- يا صاحبي لدمنتين عفاهما
- يا عاذلي في الهوى وعاذلتي
- يا عجبا لابن عطاء روىO Wonder of the Son of 'Ataa Who Narrated
