وصاحبُ الحوضِ يَسقي من ألمَّ بهِ

من الخلائقِ لا أحْبى ولا رَتَقا

Roaming by the basin, the one pained

Gives drink to souls, bonded or estranged

قيمُ نارٍ بهِ تَرضى يقولُ لها

ذا لي وذا لكِ قسمٌ لم يَكنْ عَلَقا

"For you, for me - though unjustly gained"
