You are my cousin who came after my father

When my father was absent, you were my caretaker and father

I have known no one but your father as a father

And no one but you as a brother, neither as a child nor old man

How often has your right hand relieved me

In dire straits and distress from worries

And these are people of partnership who have no morals

Whoever among them died, was for a fire whose wood was gathered
