O rider towards the city briskly

With a she-camel whose every step binds

If God guides you, you will see Ja'far

So say to thefriend of God and son of the refined one

Do not O trustee of God and son of His trustee

I repent to the Merciful then repent through me

To you from the matter in which I was stubborn

I fight in it a mujahid against all Arabists

To you I have returned the matter without opposing

And I have sought refuge with the Merciful from every doctrine

Except what you see O son of Muhammad's daughter

For by it is my creed and my way of getting closer

And my saying about Ibn Khawla was not implying

Rebellion from me towards the progeny of the perfumed one

But we narrated from the trustee of Muhammad

And there was no denial in what he said

That the guardian of the affair will disappear unseen

Covered like the act of a watchful fearful one

He divides the wealth of the disappeared one as if

His absence were between pitched tents

He stays for a while then springs up a spring

Like the spring of my grandfather from the horizon a planet

He goes with God's victory from his Lord's house

On pillars from Him and a reasoned command

He goes to his enemies with his banners

And kills them a killing like angry Haran

So when it was narrated that Ibn Khawla was absent

We directed our words to him, we did not deny

And we said he is the Mahdi and the riser by whom

Everyone in need will live by his justice

So if you say no, the truth is your word and what

You ordered is definite, not obstinately adhered to

And I witness my Lord that your word is proof

Against mankind, whether obedient or sinful

That the guardian of the affair and the riser whom

    My soul desires towards eagerly

Has an absence that he must be absent

So may God send prayers on him from the absent one

He stays for a while then his time comes

And he fills all east and west with justice

By that I profess God secretly and openly

And I am not, even if blamed, one who finds faults
