- إذا ما كنت مصطنعا جميلاIf You Were Beautifully Composed
- أراحمة قلبي وقد شفني الصبرMy Merciful Heart When Patience Has Healed Me
- أراني الظبا والبدر والشهد والدجىThe Gazelle, the Moon, the Honey, and the Twilight
- أرجوك بعد شتاتI beg You after dispersion
- أرحنا بذات الطلح عيسا طلائحاArḥna bi-dhāti al-ṭulḥ ʻIsa ṭalā'iḥa
- أرى الدهر يظميني وأنتم غبوتهI See Time Oppressing Me While You Are Asleep
- أرى اليأس عزا والرجا ذلة الفتىI see despair as dignity, and hope as the youth's disgrace
- استفتيا في قتلتيMy Friend

- أشاقك من هذا الرديني قدهI long for you from this valley of ruins
- اصبر على الضر ولا تمس عنPatience with Hardship, Do Not Complain
- أظن الصبا جابت إليك المسالكاI See Youth Has Brought You My Paths
- أظهر الروض حلاه كنوزاThe garden revealed its beauty and treasures
- اعط مهما سئلت تعط فللحرThe Generous One Gives Whatever You Ask
- أعطى سرائرك النحول اللوما
- أعليت قدرك في الورى فوضعتني
- أعيونهن أم بيض الصفاح
- اغمد شبا مرهفك الباترSheathe Your Sharp Sword
- أفديك مالكتي إلاI don't possess you, my beloved

- وشادن اختلست زورتهStolen Moments
- وشادن بي ظمأ ممضThirsting, yearning, I roamed about,
- وشادن لثمت ظلم ثغره
- وعيشك ما تركتك عن ملالYour Life as Long as You Don't Abandon It Out of Boredom
- وقائلة لم لا هجوت الذي هجاSilent When Insulted
- وقصر به جمع المعالي ممنع الA palace in which the heights of glory are gathered
- وكأنما البدر المنير تجاههAnd as if the full moon was facing him
- وكف البيت علينا ليلة
- ولرب سرب أوانس ناديننيAnd many a flock of companions called me
- ولما احتوت أيدي المنايا محمد الMuhammad the Immortal
- ولو كان ما بي من رشا ابن أربع
- وما رمد في عين حبي لعلة
