وافترس فرصة السرور افتراسا

قبل أن تغتدي طعين الفريص

And pounce on the chance for joy pouncing

Before it becomes the prey of the huntsman

واعتبر حالتيك إنك ميت

مضمحل التكوين والتشخيص

And consider your two states, you are dead

Fading in form and diagnosis

قبلك الناس لم يروا من محيد

عن سهام الردي ولا من محيص

Before you people did not see the praised one

From the arrows of shame or the escapee

سار عن أهله الغنى فقيرا

وثوى عارياً بغير قميص

Prosperity left its people poor

And lodged naked without a shirt

والذي خُص بالبقاء برانا

للفنا بالعموم لا التخصيص

And the one endowed with survival honestly

Is not specialized for demise in general

فاتئد إنما الطريد ملاق

في تماديه غائلات القنيص

So be warned, the hunted is only

Meeting the confusions of the hunter in his persistence
