أرجوك بعد شتات

يا خالق الخلق جمعا

I beg You after dispersion

O Creator of creation, a gathering

وخفض عيش بدهر

من أهله ضقت ذرعا

And the lowering of a livelihood in an age

Of its people I was extremely distressed

هم يحسبون ولكن

لم يحسنوا بي صنعا

They suppose but

They have not done good by me
