لا تبلني بالبعد في زلة

عن خطأ سر لها الحاسد

Do not chastise me for an unintentional slip

Due to an error that the envious found secretive

وان تكن من عامد فالذي

لا يبدل العفو بها العامد

And if it was intentional, then He who

Does not exchange forgiveness for it, is resolute
