- أما في الحمى ضوء لمن جنه الليلAma fi alhumma dhu'a liman jannah allail
- أما لقربك بعد الهجر ميعادAma liqurbika ba'da al-hijr mi'ad
- أمعروف قد واسيت قلب المتيمI knew you would comfort the heart of the lover
- إن أصبحت بيروت دار مدارسIf Beirut Becomes a Home of Schools
