جميع الأرض فيها طيب عيش
All the earth has in it a goodly life,
بحمد مولانا البديع يفتتح
With praise of our Master the Unique, it opens
نعم إن سخا دهري وجاد أجدت في
Yes, though my days have been ungenerous, I found
ألا فادع الذي ترجو ونادى
Oh you who I hope for, call out
ناح الحمام على غصون البان
The dove is cooing on the myrtle branches
هيا نتحالف يا إخوان
Come, let us unite, O brothers
يا حزبنا قم بنا نسود
Our party, rise, let us be lions
لقد عزت منازلنا
Our homes have become dearer to us
ملأ الكون بشرا عدله واعتداله
His justice and moderation filled the universe with upright men,
نحن أبناء مصر لولا ظفرنا
We are Egypt's sons, were it not for our victory
يا مصر أنت أرض كل معجزه
O Egypt, you are the land of every miracle
لله أفراح زهت
For Allah there are radiant joys
ودع القلب فيك يا قاتلي
Leave my heart to torment in you,
لحسين باشا من صفا الأوقات
For Hussein Pasha are the finest days
وإذا القلوب تعلقت
When hearts are attached
وقلت لما بدوا والكأس في يده
And I said, when the cup appeared in his hand,
رعى الله مصرا فهي أبهى كنانة
Allah has blessed Egypt, for it is the most radiant beauty
شادى المسرة قد شدا
Shady rejoiced and excelled
قد أنعم الله على مصر ومن
God has blessed Egypt and gave it
لقد شاد الخديوي مهرجانا
The Khedive held a splendid festival
الحمدلله وصل رب
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds
يا أهل فرانسة الغرا
O people of glorious France
روضة بالحسن غنا
A garden of beauty overflowing
طسن له في المجد فضل إماره
He has the privilege of glory as his principle
عين الحياة بهجة
The spring of life is joyous glee
وفى العلى حقها زمان
A time fulfilled its promise
من أصل الفطرة للفطن
From the origin of instinct for the wise
أصبو إلى كل ذي جمال
I yearn for all that is beautiful,
وكنانة الله التي كم فوفت
The kindness of God, how much it has sheltered
أيا خليلي دعا
O my friend, forget about the past
غادة تسلب العقول ولا بد
Gada captures minds, it's inevitable,
إنتمائي لكم بصفو صفاتي
My devotion to you with the purity of my qualities
لله منك بشائر
God's omens are with you,
يا صاح حب الوطن
O friend, love of the homeland
أو ميض برق لاح أم مصباح
أبوة خير أحرزت كل ماجد
وافى الهناء وطاب وصل الغيد
فاطمة ضياؤها
لله عقد ساميات سروره
العقل في الوابور حار
هو الرئيس ومناح الجليس من القول

ولما جلا أفراح مصر عزيزها
