1. God's omens are with you,
Your ascension are omens,

2. O you unique jewel,
In Egypt jewels gathered,

3. The king envies you,
Like breakers and Caesars,

4. What generations fail in,
Your determination prevails,

5. With glory its lights,
In both horizons apparent,

6. Forbearance a sturdy mansion,
And generosity an abundant sea,

7. You are a full moon and sons,
Like stars shining,

8. An offspring honourable,
With your pilgrimage hastening,

9. Good fortune is their mansion,
And the kingdom through them prosperous,

10. Truly the pillars with their beauty,
Are a supported alliance,

11. Praising Abraham is beyond,
The years of life's capacity,

12. Beyond the festivity of his circumcision,
Pride waves exultant,

13. If said a flowering branch,
Or said a blossoming twig,

14. The branches grow when,
The excellent is harvested,

15. And the flowers thrive in abundance,
And with plucking flourish,

16. The writer’s pen whenactive ,
To it thoughts rush,

17. And if sleep leaves the eye,
The viewer lights up,

18. With a cat the candle of a gathering,
Adorns and the companion shines,

19. He made circumcision purity,
The pure prophet,

20. Honored with a tradition,
And with it all hasten,

21. And the circumcision of royal sons,
Pride waves in it,

22. All singers,
And gatherings and assemblies,

23. But our Khedive rules Egypt,
With law advising and commanding,

24. With the noble tradition he,
Adorned circumcision rites,

25. Signs of kindness unmatched,
Between mankind restricted,

26. Freeing prisoners, charity,
Dew, generosity abundant,

27. Joining the livelihood of the weak,
With that intents arose,

28. Killing the sinner with forgiveness,
So he reformed frightened,

29. Who buys fame with wealth,
Is an excellent merchant,

30. For the branch all praising,
For the root all thankful,

31. O star in his Egypt,
To it all look,

32. Far from fulfilling the right of praise,
An arranger or disseminator,

33. But I chronicled it,
Glorious your circumcision evident.
