- إلى أن يعود الفطر سعيداThe sand is ash from the invaders’ fire.
- إلى روح الأخ عادل مطر في ذكرى الأربعينYou have not told me, from afar, where you are,

- برج الجلاءIndeed, above the towers is heaven's throne.
- بيني وبينكLove for you keeps me sleepless; I find no rest.
- تبكي عليك العين يا وطنيThe eye weeps for you, O my homeland,
- تعال يا صاحبي نرجع لوحدتناCome, my friend, let us return to our unity,
- رمضان كريمI try to sing—to no avail;
- سامحينا يا جزائر!My heart flew to Algeria in longing.
- سرقت داري وتزهو كيف تطردنيYou stole my home and gloat—how can you expel me
- سلام على باب العمودO driver of the caravan from Qana to Jerusalem,
- صبح ثلج في القدس وجه جمالA morning of snow in Jerusalem, a face of beauty
- عن غزة والعروبةI pray against them, and never pray for them:
- فلسطين الحبيبة سوف تبقىBeloved Palestine will remain
- فلسطين في القلب قبل الدمPalestine in the heart before blood
- في رثاء المرحوم جورج بلّان - أبي سالمDeath called you—the bitterest of callers.

- قسمت نفسك في النفوس عطاءYou shared yourself among souls as a gift.

- لا لا نعد زمانا بات ينكرناNo, we do not count time that has come to disown us,
