تَعالَcome ياO صَاحِبيmy friend نَرْجِعْlet us return لِوَحْدَتِناto our unity
تَعالَ يا صَاحِبي نَرْجِعْ لِوَحْدَتِنا
ونَمْنَعِand let us prevent الجُرْحَthe wound أَنْthat يَمْتَدَّit spreads فِيin الجَسَدِthe body !
ونَمْنَعِ الجُرْحَ أَنْ يَمْتَدَّ فِي الجَسَدِ !
Come, my friend, let us return to our unity,
Come my friend, let's return to our solitude
And prevent the wound from spreading through the body!
And prevent the wound from spreading in the body!
سِيَّانِِalike نَحْنُwe هُنَاhere ، إِنْif ضَاعَis lost واحِدُناone of us
سِيَّانِِ نَحْنُ هُنَا ، إِنْ ضَاعَ واحِدُنا
نَضِعْwe are lost جَمِيعًاall وَيَلْهُand toys المَوْتُdeath بِالبَلَدِwith the country
نَضِعْ جَمِيعًا وَيَلْهُ المَوْتُ بِالبَلَدِ
We are alike here: if one of us is lost,
It's all the same if one of us gets lost here
We are all lost, and death toys with the country.
We will all perish and death will take the country
لاno بُدَّescape مِنْfrom صَحْوَةٍan awakening فيon الدَّرْبِthe path تَجْمَعُناbrings us together
لا بُدَّ مِنْ صَحْوَةٍ في الدَّرْبِ تَجْمَعُنا
مِنfrom غَيْرِother than لَوْمٍblame ولاand no بُغْضٍhatred ولاand no نَكَدِmisery !
مِن غَيْرِ لَوْمٍ ولا بُغْضٍ ولا نَكَدِ !
There must be an awakening on the path that brings us together,
There must be an awakening on the road that will unite us
Without blame, hatred, or misery!
Without blame, hatred or gloom!
اليَوْمَtoday إنْif لَمْnot نَكُنْwe are أَهْلًاworthy لِوَحْدَتِناof our unity
اليَوْمَ إنْ لَمْ نَكُنْ أَهْلًا لِوَحْدَتِنا
تَفَرَّقَwill part الأَهْلُthe family أَعْداءًas enemies إلَىuntil الأَبَدِeternity
تَفَرَّقَ الأَهْلُ أَعْداءً إلَى الأَبَدِ
Today, if we are not worthy of our unity,
If today we are not suited for our solitude
The family will part as enemies forever.
The people will separate into enemies forever
لاno فَرْقَdifference بَيْنَbetween يَدٍa hand فيin الجِسْمِthe body مِنْfrom جِهَةٍa side
لا فَرْقَ بَيْنَ يَدٍ في الجِسْمِ مِنْ جِهَةٍ
وأُخْتِهاand its sister إنْif أَرادَwants الجِسْمُthe body عَوْنَthe help of يَدِa hand
وأُخْتِها إنْ أَرادَ الجِسْمُ عَوْنَ يَدِ
There is no difference between a hand on one side of the body
There is no difference between a hand in the body
And its sister, if the body wants a hand's help.
And its sister if the body wants the hand's help
وَنَحْنُand we شَعْبٌa people يُعَانِيsuffers ، لاnot يَحِقُّis permissible لَهُfor it
وَنَحْنُ شَعْبٌ يُعَانِي ، لا يَحِقُّ لَهُ
أَنْto يُورِثَpass on الخُلْفَdiscord منfrom جَدٍّa grandfather إلَىto وَلَدِa child
أَنْ يُورِثَ الخُلْفَ من جَدٍّ إلَى وَلَدِ
And we are a suffering people; we have no right
And we are a suffering people who have no right
To pass discord down from grandfather to child.
To bequeath to our descendants enmity from ancestor to child
أَوْلَىmore fitting بأَجْيالِناfor our generations أُفْقٌa horizon عَلَىon أَمَلٍhope
أَوْلَى بأَجْيالِنا أُفْقٌ عَلَى أَمَلٍ
يَسُوقُbrings خَيْرًاgood بِمَاthrough what نُبْقِيwe preserve مِنَof المَدَدِthe support !
يَسُوقُ خَيْرًا بِمَا نُبْقِي مِنَ المَدَدِ !
More fitting for our generations is a horizon founded on hope,
It is more fitting for our generations to have a horizon of hope
That brings good through the support we preserve!
That will bring goodness with what we have left of supplies!
