قَسَّمْتَyou shared نَفْسَكَyourself فيamong النُّفوسِsouls عَطاءَa gift
قَسَّمْتَ نَفْسَكَ في النُّفوسِ عَطاءَ
ووَهَبْتَand you gave جِسْمَكَyour body لِلْجُسومِto bodies دَواءَa cure
ووَهَبْتَ جِسْمَكَ لِلْجُسومِ دَواءَ
You shared yourself among souls as a gift.
You have given your soul to souls as a gift,
And gave your body to bodies as a cure.
And you have given your body to bodies as a cure.
وجَعَلْتَand you made مَوْتَكَyour death لِلْحَياةِto life عَطِيَّةًa gift
وجَعَلْتَ مَوْتَكَ لِلْحَياةِ عَطِيَّةً
مَلَأَتْit filled قُلوبَhearts اليائِسينَthe despairing رَجاءَhope
مَلَأَتْ قُلوبَ اليائِسينَ رَجاءَ
And made your death a gift to life,
You have made your death a gift of life,
Which filled the hearts of the despairing with hope.
Filling the hearts of the despairing with hope.
سَتَظَلُّyou will continue تَنْعَمُyou enjoy bliss فيin وُجودِكَyour presence بَيْنَناamong us
سَتَظَلُّ تَنْعَمُ في وُجودِكَ بَيْنَنا
وتَظَلُّand you continue تَنْعَمُyou enjoy bliss بِالخُلودِwith immortality سَماءَheaven !
وتَظَلُّ تَنْعَمُ بِالخُلودِ سَماءَ !
You will continue to find joy in your presence among us,
You will continue to enjoy your existence among us
And continue to enjoy immortality in heaven!
And you will continue to enjoy immortality in heaven!
ياO ربّLord لُطْفَكَYour kindness بِالصِّبَاtoward youth وبِأَهْلِهِand toward its people
يا ربّ لُطْفَكَ بِالصِّبَا وبِأَهْلِهِ
وبِأَهْلِهِمْand toward their families ، ياO مَنْwho تٌجيبُYou answer دُعاءَprayer !
وبِأَهْلِهِمْ ، يا مَنْ تٌجيبُ دُعاءَ !
O Lord, show Your kindness to youth and its people,
O Lord, your kindness to the young and their families,
And to their families, O You who answer prayers!
And to their families, O You who answer prayers!
