A feast in the bosoms is established

When our feelings soften in existence

لعبة

A toy gifted to a toy

كشري ما شئت يا سود الليالي

Unfurl whatever you wish, O dark nights,

في حالة غضب

Is there naught but a torrent of spilling blood

وعد بلفور

The Arabs never bowed to Caesar's rule

قد عشت في الناس غريبا وها

You lived among people as a stranger, wandering

الشعب الباسل

A people entrenched against adversity

قومي لأنتم عبرة الأقوام

My people, you are an example for all peoples

روحي عبء مثقل عاتقي

My spirit is a burden weighing down my shoulders

حنين إلى الوطن

Those are my homelands, and this is its symbol,

إلى كل متهاود

O you whom love has diverted there

نجوى المحتضرة

Death drew near me, oh Abu Ja'far

إليها

Leave me be, for you have awakened the dormant sorrows in me

السكر مشغلي

They said passion would be your end, so I said "Why do you blame me for my own death?

نحن لم نحمل السيوف لهدر

We did not bear swords for ruin,

تلك أوطاني وهذا رسمها

Those are my homelands, and this is their image,

دع عنك رائعة الأغاني

Leave your sublime songs

لقد تهت

They have blocked the world in its face

حجر في كثبان الرمل

In your solitude, I do not console myself

البطل الشهيد

إحملوني إحملوني

جفت على شفتي الأماني

كبرياء الحب

تبسم

نحن المصادر والموارد

عيد بأحناء الصدور يقام
