كرروا البشرى مرة بعد مرة

قضاء محكم لا يستطاع

متى رمضان ينقضى بسلام

عاذلي أنت خال من مصابي

فلب الحزم إن حاولت يوما

قضاء قد جرى فعليه صبرا

لقد بت فى وجد من القرب والبعد

أرائعة المشيب لقد أرعتي

فؤاد ببحر الوجد طاف وعائم

صواب لقلبى فى أساك يصاب

أعاذك الله يا ذا المجد والأدب

هكذا المجد طارف وتليد

إذا لم يكن صدر المجالس سيدا

كل يوم أريد أن أتحلى
