1. O you who have become the pole of the circle of virtue
And O center of purposes in intellect and tradition

2. Peace be upon you from a lover you have possessed
By your merit, and the free possess by merit

3. To you my yearning, moreover my heart is with you
Even if my journey began with it first

4. With you Samarqand flew, O Son of Hashim
And horizons of India, from there withdrew in haste
