تسبح من أهدى النفوس إلى المنى
The purest souls praise the one who guides
حلت حين ما حلت على المصايب
When misfortunes befell, befell me
هواك لا نوار الملامة ملمع
Your love is not the light of blame that shines
ناظم شرع وساقي كوثر
Roses are red, violets are blue
صفا شهد ذوقي من ممازجة الهوى
My joy experienced the taste of passion through love's communion
ما لي إلى وصل الحبيب سبيل
I have no way to reach my beloved,
مأثم حساد الكلام عظيمة
Roaming enviers of words, great is their sin
أي كسب كماله اعتقادين ناقص
Roses are red, violets are blue
فتحت عين رجائي بسيفك القاهر
You opened the eye of my hope with your victorious sword
صل وسلم على النبي وآله
Send blessings and peace upon the Prophet and his family
أفنى الضنا جسدي وابلى بالي
My body is worn by longing and my mind confused,
يا من بك التجاء من كان سواك
O You in whom refuge is sought instead of any other!
أثني على خير الأنام محمد
I praise the best of mankind, Muhammad
الحمد لمن عز كمالا وعلا
Praise be to the One who is perfect in might and loftiness
قد انقضى دوام داء دائم
The persistence of constant affliction is over
خلفي معتبر آدم وحوا سنين
Behind me Adam and Eve had lived for years
نور الله لك الأرض سقى الله ثراك
God lit the earth for you, God watered your soil
وحق حكيم كون الخلق كلهم
It is the right of the Wise to create all people,
أراك ترى حالي وما تترحم
I see you seeing my state, yet you show no mercy
أباهي بوجد قد تمكن في الحشا
I boast of a passion that has taken root in my innermost being
سبحان خالقي خلق الموت والحياة
Glory be to my Creator, who created death and life
تبت يدا كاتب لولاه ما خربت
May the hands of the scribe who wrote it wither, without him
بلغ صبا سلاما مسكيه الروايح
Deliver my greetings, perfume-bearing breeze
قد شرفك الله بطوف الحرمين
God has honored you with circling the two holy places
كأنهم أصحاب كهف أنه حصن حصين
As if they are companions of the cave, that it is an impregnable fortress
عزمه عزم عظيم، رأيه رأي متين
His resolve is greatly resolute, his opinion firmly based
حكم وعلم وسيادات وتقوا
Wisdom, knowledge, grace, and piety
أحببت رب ملاحة لجماله
سروري وذوقي من جمالك صادر
يحرك وجدي قدك المتمايل
أشرقت من فلك البهجة شمسا وبها
سما قدر السماحه والجمال
كلت لسانا سقيما من تصرفه
الحمد لمن أنار قلبي وهدى
قد أنار العشق للعشاق منهاج الهدى
