There is no good in people's dispute,

يا رب رأسي ضرني

O Lord, my head hurts me

عليك بآيات الشفاء فإنها

Take the verses of healing, for they

فقهاؤنا كذبالة النبراس

Our scholars are like lamps in the darkness

بنور تجلى وجه قدسك دهشتي

With the light of Your holiness my awe appeared

قل لإخوان رأوني ميتا

Tell my brothers who saw me dead,

حلت عقارب صدغه في خده

The scorpion's claws settled on his cheek

فإن كنت في هدي الأئمة راغبا

If you desire the guidance of the Imams,

إذا ما كنت ملتمسا لرزق

If you seek provision and wish to attain your goal

أسكان رامه هل من قرى

Does Asku dwell in Ramah - is there no village there?

أسعد ببال امرئ يمسي على ثقة

I am happiest with the state of one who retires confident

بدا لك طال عنك اكتتامه

It seemed to you its darkness lingered long,

قل لمن يفهم عني ما أقول

Tell those who comprehend me what I say

طريق الوصل سهل إن تردني

يا أيها المدعي لله عرفانا

الشدة أودت بالمهج

إذا ولد المولود سروا بفرحة

علم المحجة واضح لمريده

ظفر الطالبون واتصل الوصل

انظر إلى ناقتي في ساحة الوادي

هبني صبوت كما ترون بزعمكم

قوموا إلى الدار من ليلى نحييها

قد كنت عبدا والهوى مالكي

أأنثر درا بين سارحة النعم
