- أفي جرجرايا أنت كفنا بن فرزنٍ
- أقتيب قد قلنا غداة أتيتناThe morning you came to us, my friend,
- أقلي علي اللوم يابنة مالك
- ألا أبلغ أبا حسن عليا
- آلا انتسأت بالود عنك وأدبرت
- ألا رب ذي نصح وقد تستغشهAlas, Lord of sincerity though it be disguised
- الله أعطاك التي لا فوقهاGod Gave You That Which Has No Equal
- ألؤم بن لؤم ما عدا بك حاسراThe hopes of a hopeless man, none but you can revive
- إن من الأحداث أن تنكحي
- أنت امرؤ إما ائتمنتك خالياYou are a man I either trusted you empty
- إني أَرى فتنة تغلي مراجلهاI see turmoil with boiling cauldrons
- أين تضرب بنا لعداة تجدنا
- ترنمت يابن الحر وحدك خالياترنّمت يابن الحرّ وحدك خالياً
- تعزوا يابني حرب بصبرBe patient, O sons of war with fortitude

- رب من أغتشه ينصحني
- سأنصح قيسا قيس عيلان إنني
- عمدت بمدحتي عثمان إني
- عمر الخير يا شبيه أبيهOmar's Goodness, O One Who Resembles His Father
- فأخلف وأتلف إِنما المال عارةMy friend, wealth is but a loan to be repaid
- قومي أصحيني فما صيغ الفتى حجرا
- كحية الماء لا تنحاش عن أحد
- لعمرك ما المعروف غير أهله
- لعمرو أبي تمدر ما بنوهاBy the life of Amr Abu Temadder!
- لقد ضاعت رعيتكم لديكمYour People Are Lost Among You

- متى ما أقل يوما لصاحب حاجةWhen I Say to a Friend in Need
- نعم حاجة كلفتها القيظ كلهYes, a need that the heat has burdened
- وقد جرب الناس آل الزبيرAnd the people have tried the family of Az-Zubayr
- ولا يكونن مال الله مأكلةAnd let not the wealth of Allah be for consumption
- يا ابن الزبير أمير المؤمنين ألمO Son of Zubayr, Commander of the Faithful, Do You Not Feel Pain
- يا دار ليلى بأبلي فذي حسم
