- على رسم ذياك الحمى والمنازلUpon the traces of that sanctuary and those dwellings,
- للشعر في خطرات الفكر آمالFor poetry, amid the stirrings of thought, there are hopes.
- هي المراتب قد عزت مبانيهاSuch are the ranks; their edifices have grown lofty.
- يهنيك عصر المجد ام يهنأ المجدDoes the age of glory gladden you, or does glory rejoice
