يتلقى الندى بوجه حيي

Dew faces the flowers with shyness

يا رب بيت ربه

O Lord, in a home

يا هر بعت الحق بالباطل

O one who has replaced truth with falsehood

لك ود قد جبرناه

I have your love that has healed me

مات المبرد وانقضت ايامه

The Mubrid has died, his days have passed

ولما انتهينا للخيال الذي سرى

يا هر فارقتنا ولم تعد

O hawk who has left us and not returned

إن إمام الورى ليرفعني

Oh my regret for Sa'eed since he left me

قل لمن يبرم المريض فلوعدت

Tell the one who visits the sick though bored

نم فقد وكلت بي الأرقا لاهيا

أداري بضحكي عن هواك وربما

أبا حسن لما سبقت الى العلى
