- الحمد لله الذي لم يتخذPraise be to God, who has not taken
- الحمد لله لا شريك لهAl-Hamdu Lillahi La Shareeka Lahu (All praise is for Allah, who has no partner)
- الحمد لله ممسانا ومصبحناPraise be to Allah when we reach morning and evening
- الخيط الأبيض ضوء الصبح منفلقThe White Thread, Dawn's Light Splitting
- المطعمون الطعام في السنة الThose who feed the hungry in the year of crisis
- إله العالمين وكل أرضGod of the Worlds and All Earth
- إلى الله أهدي مدحتي وثنائياTo God I dedicate my praise and glorification
- إن التكرم والندى من عامرGenerousness and Dew from Amer
- إن الحدائق في الجنان ظليلةThe Gardens in Paradise are Shady
- إن الصفي بن النبيت مملكاSafwan ibn al-Muattal Kingdom
- إن الغلام مطيع من يؤدبه
- إن آيات ربنا باقيات
- إن عمرا وما تجشم عمرو
- أنا الذائد الحامي الذمار وإنما
- تعلم فإن الله ليس كصنعهLearn, for God is not like His creation
- ثم لوط أخو سدوم أتاهاThen Lot, brother of Sodom, came to her
- جزى الله الأجل المرء نوحاMay God reward the man of noble character, Noah
- جلبنا النصح تحمله المطاياWe brought advice, the mounts bear it
- جهنم تلك لا تبقي بغياHell does not spare the wicked
- حنانيك إن الجن كنت رجاءهمMy Gentleness, If the Jinn Were My Hope
- دار قومي في منزل غير ضنك
- دحوت البلاد فسويتها
- ذكر ابن جدعان
- رشدت وأنعمت ابن عمر وإنماYou have been rightly guided and favored, son of Umar, indeed
- زعم ابن جدعان وليس بكاذبIbn Jad'an's Claim and He is No Liar
- سبحانه ثم سبحانا يعود لهGlory be to Him, then glory be to us, it returns to Him
- عرفت الدار قد أقوت سنيناI knew the house had endured years
- عطاؤك زين لامرئ إن حبوتهYour generosity adorns a man if you endow him
- علم ابن جدعان بن عمروIbn Jada'an ibn 'Amr's Wisdom
- عند ذي العرش يعرضون عليهAt the One with the Throne, they present to Him
- عين بكى بالمسبلات أباA tearful eye for Abu Al-Harith
- غدا جيران أهلك ظاعنينا
- غذوتك مولودا وعلتك يافعاI nurtured you as an infant, and raised you as a youth
- فإن تسألينا كيف نحن فإنناWe Are Well
- فصلقنا في مراد صلقةWe traveled with purpose through barren land
- فلو قتلوا بحرب ألف ألف
- فما أعتبت في النائبات معتبSo Lonely, Blame Not
- فما أنابوا لسلم حين تنذرهم
- فما بلغت كف امرىء متناولاmy love, you are beyond reach
- قالت لأخت له قصيه عن جنبMy friend, the path is long
- قد كان ذو القرنين قبلي مسلماDhul-Qarnayn Was a Muslim Before Me
- قومي إياد لو أنهم أممMy people, the Iyad, if only they were a nation,
- قومي ثقيف إن سألت وأسرتي
- كانت لهم جنة إذ ذاك ظاهرةThey Had an Apparent Paradise Back Then
- كأنما الورد الذي نشرهAs If It Were Roses He Had Strewn
- كثمود التي تفتكت الدينThe People of Thamud Who Transgressed in Their Religion
- كل عيش وإن تطاول دهراEvery life, no matter how long, comes to an end
- كميت بهيم اللون ليس بفارضKamit bihim al-laun laysa bifarid
- كن كالمجشر إذ قالت رعيتهThe Pasture
- كيف الجحود وإنما خلق الفتىHow ungrateful, when the youth was created
- لا يذهبن بك التفريط منتظراDon't Let Procrastination Take You Away Waiting
- لقيت المهالك في حربناI encountered the destroyers in our war
- لك الحمد والمن رب العبادAll praise and favors are for the Lord of servants
- لك الحمد والنعماء والملك ربناYours are the praise, the blessings, and the kingdom, our Lord
- لم يخلق السماء والنجومHe did not create the sky and the stars
- له نفيان يحفش الأكم وقعهFor Him Two Souls Roar in Ecstasy
- لو يدب الحولي من ولدIf time could reverse its flow
- ليطلب الثأر أمثال ابن ذي يزنSeeking Revenge Like the Son of Dhi Yazan
- مجدوا الله فهو للمجد أهل
- من سبأ الحاضرين مأرب إذFrom Saba of Those Present at Marib When
- من كان ذا عضد يدرك ظلامته
- من يطمس الله عينيه فليسHe whose eyes God blinds will not
- نحن بنينا طائفا حصينا
- نحن ثقيف عزنا منيعWe are well-mannered people, our dignity is strong
- نفشت فيه عشاء غنمScattered in it a flock's supper
- نهرا جاريا وبيتا علياA Flowing River and a High Home
- وأبو اليتامى كان يحسن أوسهم
- والأرض سوى بساطا ثم قدرها
- والحية الحتفة الرقشاء أخرجهاThe venomous viper, curled up and stippled
- والطوط نزرعه فيها فنلبسهWe will plant cotton in it, so we can wear it
- والناس تحتك اقدام وأنت الهمPeople Beneath Your Feet While You Worry
- وإني بليلي والديار التي أرىAnd My Nights and the Homes I See
- وبفرعون إذا تشاق لهWhen Pharaoh longed for him
- ورأيت من عبد المدان خلائقاI saw the nature of Abdul Madan
- وفي دينكم من رب مريم آيةIn your religion there is a sign from the Lord of Mary
- وقد يقتل الجهل السؤال ويشتفيIgnorance can kill the question and heal
- ولا يوم الحساب وكان يوماThe Day of Judgement Was a Day
- ولقد رأيت الفاعلين وفعلهمI have seen the doers and their deed
- وما لي لا أحييه وعنديWhy should I not greet him, when I have

- ومن صنعه يوم فيل الحبوشFrom Pride's Creation
- وميز في إنفاقه بين مصلحHe distinguished in his spending between what improves
- يا ليلة لم تبن من القصرO night that did not build from the palace
- يا نفس مالك دون الله من واقO Soul, What Do You Have Other Than God As A Protector
- يدعون بالويل فيها لا خلاق لهم
- يرن على مغزيات العقاق
- يظل يشب كيرا
- يلومونني في إشتراء
- يوقف الناس للحساب جميعا
