God of the worlds and of every land
The God of the worlds and of every land,
And Lord of the mountains firmly set
And the Lord of the firmly anchored mountains.
He built them and erected seven mighty ones
He built it, and constructed seven mighty heavens,
With no pillars seen and no men
Without visible pillars, nor by the hands of men.
And leveled them and adorned them with light
He proportioned them and adorned them with light,
From the shining sun and the crescent moon
From the radiant sun and the crescent moon,
And with shooting stars shining in their darkness
And with shooting stars that sparkle in their darkness,
Their missiles more piercing than lances
Whose strikes are fiercer than piercing blades.
And He split the earth so fountains burst forth
And He cleaved the earth, so it gushed forth with springs,
And rivers of fresh, sweet water did run
And rivers of sweet, crystal-clear water.
And blessed its regions and made them wholesome
And He blessed its regions and caused to flourish,
With whatever was of crops and goods
Whatever they held of crops and wealth.
So every long-lived being must one day perish
For every long-lived being must, one day,
And he who has riches will come to decline
And every possessor of this world, come to an end,
And fade after vigor and mold into ruin
Fading away after their prime, and turning to decay,
Except the All-Holy, the Majestic, the Sublime
Except the Everlasting, the Holy, the Lord of Majesty.
And the guilty will be driven naked
And the wicked shall be driven, stripped naked,
To the place of horrors and torment condign
To the realm of iron maces and severe torment.
And cry "Woe to us!" a protracted lament
Then they will cry out a long cry of woe,
Twisting in chains of enormous length
And wail within its lengthy chains.
They are not dead to find repose
They shall not die so that they might find rest,
But burning in hellfire without end
And every one of them will roast in the heat of the Fire.
While the righteous settle in a home of truth
While the righteous shall settle in an abode of truth,
And soft living in shade and delight
And a life of bliss beneath the shades.
Theirs what they wish for, whatever they want
They shall have whatever they desire and wish for,
Of joys in it, perfection and height
Of joyous delights therein, and absolute perfection.
