- إنعم بأيام الصباEnjoy the days of youth,
- بعدت عنكم بدارى دون خالصتيI am far from you in my dwelling, but not in my devotion;
- سقى الله أياما لنا وليالياMay God water our days and nights,
- غصن على دعص نقا منهالA branch atop a crumbling mound of fine sand,
- كريم بصير بأمرش الزمانGenerous, discerning in the affairs of time;
