- وأنكم في نشركم لعيوبنا
- وإنما قيل فراء لصانعكمIt is said you are courageous, to flatter you
- وإني لذو بز من الحمد طرزهI bear the burden of praise's adornment
- وبدر لاح من تحت السلاهم
- وحليت نفسك بالشعر زعماMy Friend
- وسواء أنتم فيWhether in hardship or in ease
- وعاطلة حليت بالمجد جيدها
- وقد قلت حقا والحقيقة مهيع
- وكم للناس في الأمثال
- وكم ليلة أحلى من الأمن بتها

- يا مجهد النفس في نيل المنى طمعا

- يسعى الحريص ورزقه مقسومThe Diligent Seeks While His Livelihood Is Apportioned
