1. I call upon destiny, for you have called it soon
And command time, for you have commanded it obedient

2. And the judgment is your judgment, so propose and you will find bliss
Racing each other, kinds meet you

3. If anyone is to attain his wishes seeking
You attain them sought

4. It suffices the successful one to attain your approval in
Something and to find with you a share

5. And the greatest of the moment of his care's eye
Is he who is your slave in the world counted

6. You are the caliph of God and His shadow
And over God's servants you have stood a watcher

7. You pasture the world with justice and equity in
A kingdom in which thousands of sheep have become wolves

8. A kingdom which the hand of the Merciful aids
Forever protecting it from accidents and afflictions

9. Happiness flowed in it among its peoples
Like water in the meadow of gardens fertile

10. So the cup of purity has been honored
And been clothed in the fur of bliss aged

11. So when the birds in it chirp amorously
They depict tongues for speech and hearts

12. And when a shining lightening in it flashes
A mouth smiling in the sky youthful

13. You are the refuge for it from every adversity
So if the sick complain you are the healer

14. And if the night of anguish darkens you illuminate it
With the flint of a thought from you transcending holes

15. And straight opinion, perfect, which clarifies for us
An ample chest in matters welcoming

16. Abdul Hamid the protector, praise be to Him who
Pleased the Most High, the Lord, and the Worshipped

17. The lineage of great sultans, and excellent
A lineage which time will be its herald

18. A lineage which meets its like in merit, so if
You had not guarded it, you would have sufficed it guarantor

19. The conquerors of every difficult impasse
And releasers of afflictions and distresses

20. Through you their elegant glory has returned honored
And their fragrant mention increased more aromatic

21. O great coveted king,
O rain of generosity poured as bounty

22. Your care embraced all with its kindness
And granted me from its overflow droplets

23. You flooded me in the sea of your bounty, so I salvaged
From its depth a pearl, O quencher of thirst

24. And you granted me the honor of your magnificent consideration
So I was clothed by you in its fur dressed

25. I am your mighty sultanate's obedient slave, and I
Take pride in that from you, a gift bestowed

26. A slave sincere to your lofty turban
Reciting praise to you in the sovereign deputed

27. And praise cannot fully match your sublimity even if it filled
Parchments of autumn with its blossoms inscribed

28. You still rise in the horizons of your kingdom a
Full moon, nor have you intended from it to set
