1. These two witnesses were driven to testify,
Though a thousand bore false witness against them.

2. They testified to what they did not know,
Against one unknown to them however it occurred.

3. Yet their testimony was believed,
While people rejected it unanimously.

4. When the truth appeared from within it,
Like purity appearing from corruption.
