1. And we came to Khaybar and its duties
With every bare-chested gallant young man

2. A generous horse at climaxes, whose strength does not fail
Daring against enemies in every arena

3. Great in boiling caldrons during every winter
Stirring with the blade of Mashrafi, well-sharpened

4. He sees killing as praise if he attains martyrdom
From God he hopes for it and success through Ahmad

5. He protects and defends the flock of Muhammad
And wards off from him with tongue and hand

6. And helps him against everything that troubles him
He gives his soul for the soul of Muhammad

7. He believes the tidings of the unseen sincerely
Seeking through that the victory and honor of the morrow
