1. The factions knew when they turned against us
And sought to destroy our faith, we would not waver,

2. The resolute tribes of Qais ibn ‘Ailan were shocked
And Khandaf was bewildered, unaware of what was to come,

3. They try to deter us from our religion and we deter them
From disbelief, and the Merciful Lord is watching and hearing,

4. When they provoke us in a place, God aids us
Against their provocation with ample victory,

5. Such is God’s protection of us and His grace upon us
While one whom God does not protect is lost,

6. He guided us to the religion of truth and chose it for us
And above all makers is God with great creations.
