1. How can I invoke curses on one who has wronged me,
When my Master has wronged me in all His judgments?
١. كيفَ الدُّعاءُ على مَنْ جارَ أَوْ ظَلَما
ومالِكي ظالمٌ في كُلِّ ما حَكَما
2. God does not punish those I hate for their enmity,
Nor exact revenge on my behalf, nor do me wrong.
٢. لا آخذَ اللّهُ مَنْ أهوى بِجَفْوَتِهِ
عَنِّي ولا اقْتَصَّ لي منهُ ولا ظَلما
