1. O you who ask about me
You know me not better than I know myself
١. أَيّها السّائلُ عَنِّي
لَسْتَ بِي أَخْبَرَ مِني
2. I am a human being created by Allah
In the form of a jinni
٢. أَنا إِنْسانٌ بَراني اللّهُ
في صُورَةِ جِنِّي
3. Rather I am the clearest in the eye
So cease your suspicions about me
٣. بَلْ أَنا الأَسْمَجُ في العَيْ
نِ فَدَعْ عنكَ التّظَنِّي
4. I do not submit from my own soul
So who can make me submit
٤. أَنا لا أَسْلَمُ مِنْ نَفْ
سي فَمَنْ يَسْلَمُ مِنِّي
