1. Praise the cup and the one who made it
Curse a people who killed us with thirst
١. اِمْدَحِ الكَأْسَ ومَنْ أَعْمَلَها
واهْجُ قَوْماً قَتَلُونا بالعَطَشْ
2. The cup is only an early spring
If the cup is gone, we will not live
٢. إِنّما الكَأْسُ رَبِيعٌ باكِرٌ
فَإذا ما الكَأْسُ غَابَتْ لَمْ نَعِشْ
