1. O my companions and friends, stop your ways
I've had enough, what wrong have I done?

2. Enough frightening my beloved,

7. Nay, you've become angels in manner
All your acts are delightful and sweet.

8. My God, be my helper against them
My patience is little, O Lord, help me!
