1. This is a blessed wedding that brought fragrance and light
To the home, from the gardens of eternity

2. So it resembled a musical garden that welcomed me
In it are beloved friends, flowers and birds

3. I see happiness for the two spouses smiling
With spring which increased their blossoming

4. And now I hear from their hearts a melody
With which love made veins into strings

5. The flowers bloomed from grass and from trees
Like hearts for a wedding adorned with wreaths

6. And the garden of love appeared decorated
For them to pluck today flowers and fruits

7. O excellent is the wedding of two beloveds tried
By what tries in love the good and the pure

8. As if it is that wedding in which was poured
The hand of the Savior in it wine flowing

9. The daughter of Syria inclined unto the son of Lebanon
So Syria offers to Lebanon sweet perfume

10. And in their union in love and harmony
A symbol for the hope that makes the free rejoice

11. To the newlyweds I sincerely congratulate
Embedding in it for them love and altruism

12. May they forever in prosperity from their marriage remain
Where angels guard them from harms

13. And God lavish the length of age His bounty
Upon them and increase prosperity in the home

14. And love its horizons with the stars shining
And its meadow grows basil and bushes

15. The world smiled at them so I saw
In the wedding’s brilliance the beauty of May

16. And all attendants saying with me
God blessed the home dwellers and the home
