1. With the softness in her cheek, so tender,
And the fruitfulness of her form, so slender,

2. Shelter me with hair above the lips
Like a willow over water pure and clear,

3. For you the Quran's song has led me here,
Morning and evening my ears draw near,

4. And sweetest of all that my tongue repeats
Are my prayers and peace upon the Prophet.
