1. O refuge of the refugee, in his place of escape,
To You from it with the burden of worries oppressing him,

2. He came to You hoping despite despair with You for hope,
With You he sought refuge, so excellent is the refuge sought in You,

3. At Your spacious door his needs have taken refuge,
From destruction You have protected him from the door of his desire,

4. So do not disappoint a hope, its ways are blocked,
From other than You, for this is the essence of its way,

5. Is there honor after Your honor that one would seek refuge in it,
Expelled by the misfortunes of time ever binding him,

6. When and who else and no time and no sovereign,
That would honor the honor of the heart tossing about.
