2. When they were in a battle in which their blood was shed,
The cheeks kissing the ground in humiliation and ugliness.

3. Among them was Abu Al-โรแนฃรฎ, who fell prostrate,
From the back of แนขรขdiqah, the she-camel with a smooth gait.

4. Shame on the one who shot him with his weapon,
When he fell like a slaughtered ostrich.

5. And Al-Marโ Zamโah abandoned and slaughtered,
Bleeding from the sword of a stubborn, pouring enemy.

6. Resting his hot forehead, colored with dust,
The tip of his nose exposed from the flames.

7. And the son of Qais survived for the rest of the day,
The spears turning away from him, though injured.
