1. I bear witness, by God's leave, that Muhammad
Is the Messenger of the One above the heavens enthroned,

2. And that Abū Yahyā and his son Yahyā
Have done work in His faith that is accepted,

3. And that she of the palm-trunk barrier
And he who helped her are both far from evil,

4. And he who opposed the Jews, son of Mary,
Is the Messenger sent by the Lord of the Throne,

5. And the brother of Al-Aḥqāf, when they oppressed him,
Struggled for God's sake, and acted with justice.
