You are to them as a rope is to a camel's nose.

2. So though you cling to Quraysh earnestly,
You are to them as a pestering creditor.

3. You are tied to them loosely,
Like buckets to the leather draw-wells.

4. So do not boast of a people you are not from,
Nor be like the rogues from Bani Hisham.

5. They led their grandfather astray from Shaja'’s clan,
And they were tied to Quraysh through wickedness.
